The Dog.O.Mobil was tested twice in 2021 by my daughters in Italy
The first tour went to Lago di Como. On the way there we went over the Albula. Overnight we stayed at Lai da Marmorera with cool temperatures in early May
The Dog.OMobil mastered the descent to Italy without problems. At Lago di Como, Camping Panorama was the perfect place to start. The camp side has a little beach and a great view. Compared to Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, Lago di Como is not as well known and not as crowded
The second tour then went to Cinque Terre and Genoa, but in August. Overcrowded and expensive.
The list of shortcomings from both tours was manageable. On the list were
- Too small screws that didn't hold under load.
- Magnetic door holders that were too weak.
- Step wedges that were missing.
- A balcony tumble dryer that failed the first test. etc.
However, the space in the van was impressive. 3 people can go on tour without any issues, if they get along.
We didn't need shore power at all, as 2 x Offgridtec 100Ah C20 GEL batteries and a 340 watt solar panel make the van pretty self-sufficient
