Finally I got to the point that I considered a road to risky and I took a u-turn
On my way from Fier to Berat I thought I should give Albanian country roads a chance <stupid idea>. While cruising on the SH73 I looked for a spot to take a break. I thought that the lake called Roskovecit sounded like a good idea. Unfortunately I could not find the street that would get me to the lake and so I took the break somewhere and enjoyed the country site.

I checked my chances to continue on the road to Berat while I was enjoying the view on the hills and the mountains. Mount Shpirag was not directly on my route and so I gave it a try. First the road was proper.

A few kilometers later it changed to a dirt road that was still ok. Another few Kilometer thereafter it turned into a bumpy ride, offroad at it's best
And at Gerqani I got to the point that I did not want to continue. And a little farm was the only chance to turn the Dog.O.Mobil. With the help of the farmer I made it happen. I guess he was not sure why I was at all driving this road and would tell the story about the stupid German in the coming weeks to all friends
The trip back to Roskovec took 45 minutes. I was so happy to see the SH73 again
Later the day, after I had visted Berat, I followed the SH74. To show that I am not totally stupid, at Drobonik the SH74 started looking like the country road from earlier the day. This time I stopped my trip, looked for a stop and slept next to the road.
