This morning I started in Font Romeu in France, or better said the ski resort. It was fresh at 9:00 <only 15 degrees>. My planned path should lead me past the Spain enclave of Llívia to Andorra.
But things turned out slightly differently. When you stand at the mountains over approx. 1'500 m you saw a bright blue sky and further below a band of clouds covered the sky. It looked great and I was more concerned with taking pictures and admiring the region than concentrating on the track.

So it happened that I suddenly saw the town sign of Llívia in front of me. No border, no customs officer or anything told me I was going to another country. So Llívia is not much different than France 😎. So I didn't even notice that I had been back to France in the meantime when I suddenly drove into Puigcerdà, the capital of the Catalan region of Cerdanya. So I crossed the border 3 times over a few kilometers and didn't notice anything. That's why I like Europe!

So my planned mountain tour with the Dog.O.Mobil to Andorra did not happen and so I followed the N260 in Spain. If you don't know it, then you won't notice that you're driving on a plateau of at least 1'000 m. The closer you get to Andorra, the more you see the mountain ranges.

My next surprise was a 3 km traffic jam at La Farga de Moles, the border town with Andorra. A few minutes later i got that the traffic jam was the result of a real border with customs officers and barriers. Although the EU flag hangs thick and bold at the Andorran border crossing, you are not in the EU.

Not knowing this resulted in roaming fees because I had forgotten to switched off data roaming.
What should I now write about Andorra la Vella, the capital. There would be
- The fuel is cheaper
- Starting at the border there is every few meters a bigger shop to buy something
- Andorra doesn't like vans or prefers to reserve parking spaces for cars
- Unbelievable traffic in Andorra
- I couldn't find a parking space in the capital within 1 hour
- The city is a shopping madness
- When I left, I was promptly checked for cigarettes and alcohol at the border

Since I didn't want to be stuck in the same traffic jam again, I followed Google. Via the CG6 to Os de Civís in Spain. A really nice drive up into the mountains without customs. The gorge is just awesome. The stupid thing was that after the Hotel Os de Civís & Spa the road ends and there is a sign prohibiting entry <but without a car on it>. Since Google has fooled me several times before, I turned around and drove to my border crossing from noon.
So today I didn't notice that I crossed 4 borders and queued at 2
