I've skied on glaciers, but I didn't really notice them. Inspired by the blog teilzeitreisender.de and my desire to hike, I chose the Engadin.
Unfortunately, the weather was really bad until mid-May 2023, moved the tour to autumn, broke 3 fingers and will try it again in 2024
Since glaciers will disappear in the Alps in the next few decades, I wanted to see one in spring or summer. I found more information at www.pontresina.ch and so I set my sights on the Morteratsch Glacier.
Since April was the weather in the Southern Alps pretty bad and is still bad <Early July>, it will probably be nothing this year either. News like this has been on the airwaves for the last 3 weeks

Only recently, heavy rainfall caused damage in this region of Europe. Now torrential rain has once again hit the north-west of Italy and the south of Switzerland.
