A few days ago I started reading a book called > Ikigai, the meaning of life

It took me 45 pages until I found something or until I realized something. The chapter is called letting go of material addiction

And that's what I'm doing for the last weeks. I only buy the essentials, that stuff I need to live

Because I don't have much space in the mobile home and in the fridge. I don't need much other than groceries. To date, I have used less than 30% of the things I loaded into the van. Whether it's clothes, shoes, hammocks, head pots, ovens, Dutch ovens, lamps and so much more. I have a laundry day every 3 weeks and the rest gathers dust

Wrecked my Canon while hiking in Voidokilia and was frustrated. After a week I asked my daughter if she could get me a used one. Just taking pictures with your phone is annoying. But it took me almost 1 week to take the decision for this new acquisition

I've noticed that normal cities annoy me, because they are there to consume and I don't need a lot. Most of it comes out of a super market or a grocery. And what else do I want in the cities, apart from a frappe.

I don't know if the gurus will call this a success, but I do. My sabbatical is slowly paying off. We'll see if I can keep it up when I get home.
